🔒 How to Provide Website Login Information Securely

When requesting updates or technical support, you may occasionally need to share your WordPress, hosting, or domain login details with the TK Internet Marketing team. To protect your account, it’s important to send this information securely.

⚠️ Why Security Matters

Your login credentials give access to sensitive areas of your website and hosting. Sending them through unsecured channels (like plain email or chat) can put your site at risk. Always use one of the approved secure methods below.

🔐 Step 1: Log In to Your Client Area

  1. Visit https://clients.tkinternetmarketing.com/clientarea.php.

  2. Enter your email address and password, then click Login.

💡 If you forgot your password, click Forgot Password? to reset it.

🧭 Step 2: Open a Secure Support Ticket

  1. From the top menu, click Support → Open Ticket.

  2. Select the department related to your request (for example, Website Support or SEO / Content Updates).

  3. In the Message field, explain briefly what you’re authorizing us to access (e.g., “Please log in to update my WordPress theme.”).

  4. Scroll down to the Secure Notes / Attachments section and click Add Attachment or Enter Secure Details.

🔒 Information entered through the Client Area is transmitted using SSL encryption, keeping your credentials safe.

🗝️ Step 3: Provide Login Credentials

When prompted, include only the credentials needed for your specific request:

  • Website Admin (WordPress): username and password

  • Hosting Control Panel (cPanel): username and password

  • Domain Registrar (if required): username and temporary access code

💡 For added safety, you can create a temporary password or sub-account just for our team. We’ll let you know once the work is complete so you can remove access.

🧩 Step 4: Optional – Use a Password-Sharing Tool

If preferred, you can send credentials using a secure link-sharing tool such as:

These tools automatically encrypt and expire the link after it’s been viewed.

✅ Step 5: Confirm Once Shared

After sending your credentials, reply to your support ticket or email letting us know they’ve been provided.
Our team will confirm receipt and begin work right away.
