📱 How to Set Up Email on Outlook, iPhone, or Android (Using cPanel Email)
After your email accounts are created in cPanel, you can easily connect them to your preferred devices and email clients — including Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail, iPhone Mail, and Android Gmail.
Follow these steps to set up your cPanel email quickly and securely.
🧠 Before You Begin
You’ll need the following information (from your hosting welcome email or cPanel):

Email Address: e.g., yourname@yourdomain.com

Password: (the one you set when creating the account)

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP):
mail.yourdomain.com -
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):
mail.yourdomain.com -
IMAP Port: 993 (SSL)

SMTP Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (STARTTLS)
💡 Always use IMAP (not POP3) so your messages stay synced across devices.
💻 Step 1: Set Up Email in Microsoft Outlook (Windows or Mac)

Open Outlook.

Go to File → Add Account.

Enter your full email address and click Connect.

When prompted, choose IMAP.

Enter the following settings:

Incoming Mail Server:
mail.yourdomain.com -
Port: 993

Encryption: SSL/TLS

Outgoing Mail Server:

Port: 465 or 587

Enter your email password when prompted.

Click Next, then Finish.

📱 Step 2: Set Up Email on iPhone (iOS)

Open Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Mail Account.

💡 Restart the Mail app after setup if new emails don’t appear immediately.
🤖 Step 3: Set Up Email on Android (Gmail App)

Open the Gmail app → Tap your profile icon → Add another account.

Choose Other.

Enter your full email address and tap Next.

Select IMAP.

Enter the following:

💡 On some Android versions, this may appear under “Personal (IMAP)” instead of “Other.”
🧰 Step 4: Access Email via Webmail (Optional)
You can also access your email anytime through your browser:

Go to
https://yourdomain.com/webmail. -
Log in using your full email address and password.

Choose your preferred webmail interface (Roundcube recommended).
📥 Webmail is useful for testing new accounts or checking mail on public devices.
✅ Step 5: Test Your Setup
Once your device is configured:

Send yourself a test email from and to your new address.

Check that messages appear in both your mail app and Webmail.

If you can receive but not send, double-check the SMTP port and authentication settings.
