💌 How to Access and Use Webmail Effectively (Roundcube Overview & Tips)

Webmail allows you to access your email account directly from any web browser — no setup required on your computer or phone. It’s the fastest way to check messages, manage folders, or send mail when you’re away from your usual device.

This guide covers how to log in, navigate, and get the most out of Roundcube, TK Internet Marketing’s recommended webmail client.

🔐 Step 1: Log In to Webmail

You can log in two ways:

Option 1 — Using Your Domain

  1. Go to:
    https://yourdomain.com/webmail

  2. Enter your email address and password.

  3. Click Log In.

  4. Choose Roundcube when prompted.

Option 2 — Using cPanel

  1. Log in to your Client Area:
    https://clients.tkinternetmarketing.com/clientarea.php

  2. Select Services → My Services → View Details → Login to cPanel.

  3. Go to Email Accounts → Check Email next to the address you want.

  4. Select Roundcube to open your inbox.

💡 Roundcube is pre-installed on TK Internet Marketing servers and works in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox).

🧭 Step 2: Get Familiar with the Webmail Dashboard

After logging in, you’ll see:

  • Inbox – your received messages

  • Sent, Drafts, Trash, Spam folders

  • A top toolbar with New Message, Reply, Forward, Delete, and More options

  • Left sidebar for folders

  • Right-hand preview panel for message content

💡 You can drag and drop messages between folders or resize panels to fit your screen.

✉️ Step 3: Compose and Send an Email

  1. Click Create (✉️ New Message).

  2. Fill in:

    • To: Recipient’s email address

    • Subject: Email title

    • Body: Your message

  3. Use the toolbar icons to:

    • Add attachments 📎

    • Insert hyperlinks 🔗

    • Change text formatting (bold, italic, lists)

  4. Click Send when finished.

✅ Sent emails automatically save in your Sent folder.

🧩 Step 4: Manage Folders and Messages

  • Right-click any folder to create new ones (e.g., “Clients,” “Receipts,” “Projects”).

  • Drag emails into folders for better organization.

  • Use the Search bar at the top to find specific messages by keyword or sender.

  • Click the gear icon ⚙️ → Settings → Folders to show or hide folders.

✏️ Step 5: Add an Email Signature

  1. Click Settings → Identities.

  2. Select your email address.

  3. Enter your name and create a signature in the box below.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Optionally, enable HTML Signature for styled text and links.

💡 Include your business name, phone number, and website for a professional look.

🔍 Step 6: Customize Webmail Settings

In Settings → Preferences, you can:

  • Change your display language or theme

  • Set your default font size

  • Adjust auto-refresh intervals (for new mail checks)

  • Enable message preview pane

  • Manage reading pane layout

🧠 Roundcube automatically saves settings in your mailbox, so they follow you to any browser.

🧾 Step 7: Log Out Safely

Always log out after using Webmail on shared or public computers:

  1. Click your name or profile icon (top right).

  2. Select Logout.

  3. Close the browser tab or window.
